At Embers, we are committed to providing a fun, fair, and safe multiplayer experience for everyone in Murky Divers. To ensure a welcoming environment, all players must adhere to the following Community Standards and Terms of Service. By playing Murky Divers online, you agree to respect these rules.
1. Zero Tolerance for Illegal and Harmful Content
We strictly prohibit any illegal, abusive, or harmful behavior. You must not use our game, voice chat, or any associated online features to:
- Share illegal content: Promote, plan, or share content involving illegal acts, including but not limited to child exploitation, terrorism, illicit drugs, or cyber-attacks.
- Engage in Hate Speech: Use slurs, derogatory language, or discriminate against others based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
- Threaten or Harass: Bullying, stalking, making real-world threats, or encouraging self-harm.
- Share Personal Information (Doxxing): Reveal or threaten to reveal the personal, real-world information of other players or Embers staff (such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, or social media accounts).
2. Fair Play and Respect
- No Cheating or Exploiting: The use of third-party software, hacks, or intentionally exploiting bugs to gain an unfair advantage or disrupt the game servers is strictly forbidden.
- No Griefing: Intentionally sabotaging the experience for your teammates or other players (e.g., deliberate friendly fire, blocking game progress, spamming communications).
3. Consequences of Violating these Standards
Embers reserves the right to investigate reports and take appropriate action against any account that violates these guidelines. Depending on the severity of the offense, disciplinary actions may include:
- A formal warning.
- Temporary suspension from Murky Divers online matchmaking and services.
- A permanent ban from the game.
- Reporting the incident and account details to platform holders (such as Sony Interactive Entertainment / PlayStation Safety) or local law enforcement in the case of illegal activities or severe threats.
4. Reporting Violations
Community safety is a shared effort. If you encounter a player violating these rules, please use the in-game Report Player function immediately: simply open the Pause Menu during a session to view the player list and select the Report or Block buttons located next to the relevant nickname. You can also contact our support team directly at support@embers.games with details or evidence of the behavior.
